Chapman Combustion Technology Pty Ltd was formed in 1993 to continue the design, manufacture and marketing of combustion equipment developed originally by Mr Hans Escher in Australia.

Escher air recuperators and flue gas coolers are installed in Europe, USA, Japan, SE Asia and Australia, on steel reheating furnaces, glass melters, cupola melting furnaces, lime kilns and afterburners and have a deserved reputation for successful operation using contaminated waste gases.

Development of the original design is a continuing process.
